Northern Commuter Line Timetable

I refer to our ongoing campaign for the reinstatement of the Northern Commuter Line timetable to the pre 26th August timetable given the shambles that has occurred since the timetable change was implemented. A premature political decision to introduce additional services to Belfast as part of a North South agreement resulted in the chaos commuters have endured over recent weeks. 

Duncan Smith TD, Cllr Robert O’Donoghue and I have been in ongoing contact with the NTA and Irish Rail on this matter demanding that the timetable be reinstated.  We were pleased to have been informed this evening that the morning peak pattern will largely revert to pre 26th August timetable with priority to the Northern Commuter over new hourly Belfast services. Full details will be issued tomorrow.
