Today's Budget shows that disabled people remain an afterthought for this government. It is disappointing, but not surprising, that they have not committed to reinstating the Disability Cost of Living Payment.

The DWP has said that all cost-of-living support remains under constant review, so I shall maintain a constructive dialogue with the DWP.

I have also reached out to opposition parties with the aim being that they commit to additional support for disabled people ahead of the General Election.

I understand the financial impact this has had on so many of you and I will continue to campaign for the additional financial support so many need amidst this ongoing cost-of-living crisis in the UK.
