That folks is something certain former leaders never wanted to be seen.
It’s a subpoena for an upcoming murder jury trial where I led the investigation and got the alleged suspect for the case to be closed after the eye witnesses admitted to lying to other officers because they didn’t trust them.
What happened? Well the eye witnesses didn’t trust police but they KNEW of me from my strong background in community policing and only trusted me. This led to the discovery of the identity and location of an alleged murder suspect.
Then what happened? Well my involvement with solving the case was OBSCURED by certain leaders because I wasn’t the one they wanted to get credit for the case. My involvement PROVED that solid dedicated community policing works… and this particular leader was vehemently opposed to community work. He wanted only revenue focused work.
The reveals come as a slow drip folks, at least until all of this can be brought from under the shady secret NDA forced on this entire situation. The same NDA that exists because the incident contains “evidence that would be damaging to the department and town leadership”
So continue to stay tuned. Ultimately the public WILL be given all of the information and see what their elected and appointed officials were up to.
In this case, an ego was setting the course for a potential serious court trial to be effected in a huge way.
