More shootings vs more ticket revenue

I’ve been saying this for well over a year now… when Chief Young gutted the SBPD to get away from solving and preventing crime, losing valuable experienced officers in favor of ticket writing and generating revenue, it placed EVERYONE in more danger. 

Ticket revenue does NOT solve crimes.  Traffic stops do NOT develop the skills necessary to combat actual crime.

Again I ask you, what’s your family’s safety worth?  Was it worth the 220k of revenue income the police dept raked in to give the upper echelons of the town raises?  

Crime is up.  Staffing and morale are down.  But hey… they made some money right?  

It’s about time we all stood up together and retook this police dept and begin the long process of fixing that a corrupt command has destroyed.
