Did you know it’s NOT against the law for a police chief to lie?

It’s unconscionable that the leader of a law enforcement agency would be allowed to lie and make up evidence….yet it’s perfectly legal under the way the law is written.  

There should not be a two part justice system.  Justice should be the same for everyone regardless of whether they wear a uniform or not.  

Having said that, time to move on to another matter.  

There is a recording of a grievance hearing where the agency is caught lying and attempting to manufacture evidence.   It’s a good thing they got caught.  It’s a good thing it’s recorded.  However… they will not release the recording.    They are conveniently hiding behind an NDA and refusing to allow this recording to be received.   Not only that but the entire proceeding has been protected by an NDA so the details can’t be seen by the public.  

This needs to be transparent.  It should shock the conscience of every one that this can occur.
