Our beloved French teacher, Mr. Abed was removed from his position because of a single joke about someone's weight, a characteristic many French people pay no attention to. He was an invaluable asset to our learning journey, enhancing our French language skills with his unique teaching style and deep knowledge. Mr. Abed was adored by everyone, his departure has left an unfillable void in our lives. It is crucial to understand that teaching is not merely a profession but a calling received by few and Mr. Abed was indeed one of them. According to Dr. Lynn Hamilton of SAGE Journal, 'A teacher influences the learning curve and overall development of a child significantly, hence the choice of teacher is critical for a student's growth.'(SAGE Journal, 2014). By taking away Mr. Abed, we have lost an educator who truly cared about our development and growth. This is our plea to rectify the decision made and reinstate Mr. Abed as our French teacher.
