It looks like the petition might be showing some positive effects. Michael Melling, the top exec at Bell Media who most cite as being responsible for Lisa LaFlamme's firing is taking a 2 week leave amongst all of the pressure being put on him from the public. As well, the newsroom at CTV News spoke out through their lawyer about concerns they have with upper management and how they support Lisa LaFlamme. This as we have just reached 175,000 signatures with the petition! Keep up the great work sharing the petition and a big thanks to everyone for keeping the pressure on!
