Thank you for your enthusiasm around reinstating Carol! I just sent a note to Amy Rose at Rose Associates saying the below. Hope it helps and I will let you know if/when I hear anything:
Dr. Ms. Rose,
The residents of 227 W 77th Street were dismayed to hear of Carol’s dismissal and request she be reinstated immediately.
We have 29 signatures to date supporting this request, representing residents from almost every floor in the building.
You can see the petition here and I’ve pasted below its contents, a list of everyone who signed, as well as some of the comments in underscoring Carol’s contribution to the community. My mother, Bernice Blumenthal, has lived in the building for 3 years. I live up the street and have personally seen how professional, caring and loved Carol is. She goes above and beyond her duties and we respectfully ask you respond to our request by June 2nd.

We, the residents at 227 W 77th Street, were saddened to learn that after 13 years of service, Carol Paul was no longer a part of the Rose team. Carol is a beloved member of our community and we ask that she be reinstated to her position immediately.
She always goes above and beyond to be helpful, greets us with a smile, handles her responsibilities beautifully, looks professional, and is greatly missed. We were shocked to learn of her dismissal and urge you to reinstate her.
Please take this petition as an example of what Carol has meant to this community and its residents.

In the nine years I’ve known Carol, she has always brought kindness, generosity, professionalism, reliability, and expertise to her work. Daily, I keep expecting to see Carol at the front desk. She has always been part of why I enjoy coming home and why I feel at home when I walk through the revolving door of The Larstrand.

I have been the longest tenant (one of 3) who have been here for 10 years. Carol IS The Larstrand! It’s that simple . The energy and “cultur e” is just not the same and me and many other tenants I have spoken to , also think then, it’s time for us to leave . Rose should reinstate her …
