Hello again,

We recently confirmed that there are 17 students registered for AP Physics 2 and AP Physics C each. AP Calculus enrollment numbers remain unknown, but preliminary estimates are around 13 students.

This is evidence of sufficient student demand to run these classes. This year, AP Physics 2 has 14 students and AP Physics C has 16-17. With number of registrations for AP Physics 2 greater than this year and number of registrations for AP Physics C similar to this year, it is clear that student interest in these courses is not weak.

It is baffling why these classes will not be offered next year. Please continue to share the word and take further steps to secure these critical learning experiences for our students.

Parents/Voters/Students: If you have not emailed the LUSD board of trustees yet, please do so. They will listen to the concerns and opinions of their voters and constituents if we are bold enough to voice them. Read the previous update for more info or click here for the same info. 

Thank you for your continued support. It is rare that students are willing and able to fight for their education, but we are and we will continue doing so. There is no doubt that we will get the education that we deserve as the future of the world.
