A child in Dominica has now been abused by a senior church member.
Yes — a senior, trusted member of a church.
This is exactly why this petition matters.
Abuse does not happen in isolation. It happens in environments where grooming, desensitization, silence, and misplaced loyalty are allowed to grow.
We cannot claim to protect children while normalizing sexual content in public spaces, while failing to train adults properly, and while leaving prevention out of our curriculum.
This is bigger than one case.
This is about culture.
This is about prevention.
So I am asking you — do not slow down.
Keep sharing the petition.
Keep talking about it.
Keep pushing for legislative change.

And let’s step it up.
Beyond regulating explicit music in public spaces, we must now push for:
• Child sexual abuse prevention to be mandatory within the national school curriculum.
• Mandatory child protection training for all religious leaders, teachers, bus drivers, youth leaders, and anyone working with children.
• Clear reporting systems that prioritize the safety of children over the protection of institutions.
Real protection requires real structure.
This recent case is painful — but it must not be wasted.
Let it strengthen our resolve.
Keep pressing.
Keep sharing.
Protect our children.
