This is fantastic news! Geez holds significant cultural importance in both Eritrean and Ethiopian societies. It would be wonderful if we could collaborate to ensure that Eritrea is also included in this submission. In addition to its use in the Catholic and Orthodox Church, Geez is also a crucial source of the Tigryna and Tegre languages. Tegre, in particular, is closely related to Geez compared to Tigrigna and Amharic, and it is predominantly spoken in northern Eritrea. Please let me know if any assistance is required from the Eritrean community or government.

This is super - one day Ethiopians and Eritreans will just communicate in Geez. Let's do the following 1) Geez World Heritage committee, which is composed of stakeholders, who come up with ideas to engage both Eritrean and Ethiopian decision-makers. 2) Formulate the to-do list and 3) call a general Zoom meeting of the stakeholders to design the courses of action.
