This is the response by the chair of the Central Hill Residents Association to the following email from Homes for Lambeth:
From: Maxine - Homes for Lambeth <maxine@homesforlambeth.co.uk>
Subject: Thank you Central Hill
A massive Thank you to our Central Hill Residents...
Thank you for 30 plus residents who came along to the ‘Your Teams’ event on Wednesday evening. It was great to see so many old and new faces - we enjoyed it and we hope you did as well.
Those who came were able to talk to ourselves about the rebuilding of the estate, the landscaping consultation at Romany Prospect and the up coming community fun day. The council was also there to talk to residents about the management of the estate.
We hope that everyone who came along found out enjoyable and useful, but we are always keen to hear about how we can improve our events and activities. So, if you have any thoughts or comments please just get in-touch by contacting pamela@homesforlambeth.co.uk or maxine@homesforlambeth.co.uk .
Also, if you want to help put on the community fun day please also get in touch.

This is misleading.
Firstly, the email is from Maxine (HfL) and Pamela, the residents independent advisor. Doesn't seem very independent, does it?
There may have been 30 or so 'new and old faces' many who were queuing up to complain about their repairs or trying to move off the estate because of the impending regeneration, repairs or personal reasons.
It is a shame that the only way to talk to Wates, the repairs company is through a load of HfL advertising. There was not one label that said Lambeth - yet these are the people we pay our rent and service charge to.
I didn't know there was any discussion about the Romany Rise Prospect landscaping. Has anyone spoken to them about the landscaping?
We still haven't been asked where we would like a s106 (community enhancement). And we certainly wouldn't choose BY A ROAD.
The activities day is an interesting one. The only day put forward is the same date as the All Things Lambeth Day of Action outside the Town Hall and in Windrush Square including the Brixton Save Nour campaign, who are fighting a private tower in the centre of Brixton; the Lambeth referendum; Refurbish Don't Demolish alongside the estates facing demolition; and any other group that is unhappy with LBL on Sat. 18th September. All are welcome.
This is the stall for repairs. The only public meeting we've had with them on or offline for maybe two years or even three. I can't remember the last public meeting with the repairs team, and it seems can only be organised through HfL, the wholly private company, owned by the council, that wants to demolish the Central Hill Estate.
I would like to thank Maxine for, as always, leading us down the path.
Chair of Central Hill Estate Residents Association.
