Neville would like to thank you all so very much for your support. We are hoping you will all share this petition with your friends, families and acquaintances to help share Neville's story and hopefully obtain more signatures.

With your help we can make changes in not only Neville's life, but all the childrens lives who have to attend this school.

Neville is an Indigenous child with multiple disabilities. He was strapped into a baby highchair for 8 months whilst at school, because he was "a bit much". According to his peers he was unable to play during breaks, and he was strapped and placed into a corner during class. He was repeatedly denied access to school excursions and events (including events for his own culture). He was denied access to fulltime school. The NSW Department of Education recognises that these things occurred, but state that "no misconduct" occurred. There has been no accountability for these staff people, including the School Principal who personally strapped him into this baby highchair on multiple occasions. Neville has no behaviours that call for restraint. Neville is fully mobile, and is able to walk, sit and play with his peers. His "a bit much" behaviours are because he likes to walk around. There is no justification.
