Thank you for signing my petition and standing with me in calling for greater accountability and reform of Australia's child protection system.
Your support means far more than adding another signature—it sends a powerful message that Australians care deeply about protecting our children and ensuring the systems designed to keep them safe are transparent, accountable, and effective. 

Many families have experienced significant hardship because of decisions made within the current system. Where reports are inaccurate or misleading, there should be meaningful accountability, evidence based and appropriate consequences for serious professional misconduct. Public confidence depends on a system that is transparent, fair, and subject to independent oversight. 

There are also concerns about the broad powers to access personal information, often without families fully understanding what information has been obtained or how it has been used. Greater transparency and stronger safeguards are needed to protect privacy while ensuring children's safety. 

In addition, I believe child protection reports should not automatically be relied upon as expert evidence in family court proceedings unless they meet the same standards of independence, expertise, and accountability expected of other expert witnesses.
This campaign is growing because of people like you. Every signature strengthens our voice and increases the likelihood that decision-makers will take notice.
