Here’s what’s happened so far: We currently have a bill draft in review— Once a bill is submitted, it goes to the Clerk’s office to receive a bill number and be assigned to the appropriate committee and chamber. Committee chairs are the true gatekeepers of the legislature, because they alone decide whether a bill gets a public hearing or quietly dies in their drawer. ‼️‼️ This is only the first step—once the bill is numbered and assigned, we need everyone to CALL and EMAIL the chamber to make sure it doesn’t stay buried. As soon as that happens, I’ll share exactly who to contact and how so we can push for the bill to be docketed and heard. Real change happens through sustained public pressure, so please stay engaged and take action when the call goes out. 🤝 Also, I filed a formal complaint against Judge Rowena Somerville. I’ve received confirmation that it’s under review.
