It's interesting to see the concept of second chances in action, isn't it? Recently, when Conservative donor Frank Hester made regrettable comments about Labour MP Diane Abbott, many Tory ministers were eager to extend him the opportunity of a second chance.
But what about everyday people? One in six people in the UK have some form of criminal record. Many have only had minor interactions with the criminal justice system. But their criminal record continues to impact job opportunities, volunteering roles, housing rights and even travel – sometimes forever.
We really appreciate your support in changing the system to allow people to move on and find work without prior cautions or convictions holding them back. Why not take the next step?
