He- He- Hey! Hame again! So, I have noticed that Alokesh Gupta (VU3BSE), a notable ham radio operator has signed my petition and I thank him for doing so and sharing it. It shows that shortwave radio, especially domestic shortwave radio broadcasts, is still important and worthy in India! We should not only think of ourselves just because we have FM radio, DRM radio, television and internet. Some might come from rich families while some might come from poor families. Some may be marginalised while some may not be marginalised. We must think of the minorities also because they need such services. To some people like rich people and developed people, they might not need it but the others might need it. We need to strengthen this petition and make Prasar Bharati and Akashvani understand that the decision of shutting down domestic shortwave radio broadcasts is a BIG MISTAKE and that they should restore them. As you can see from the above picture (of my XHDATA D-808 radio receiver), The North Eastern Service Of Akashvani's shortwave radio frequencies are not online yet! We should not stop and we should not give up! ERASE AND DESTROY THE THOUGHTS OF GIVING UP AND DEFEAT!!! COME ON, LET THIS PETITION BECOME EFFECTIVE!
