Over 6 months have passed since Reef2Reef (R2R) began their crusade to unjustly target and prohibit LGBTQ people from participating fairly on their forums. Unfortunately, nothing has changed on R2R in this time. On the positive, some former sponsors did see through the tales they were being told and we are delighted that they elected to end their sponsorship of R2R. Our deepest "thank you!" is extended to them.

However, this month of June, Pride Month, simply brought more illustration of R2R's deplorable behavior. 

A simple "Happy Pride Month Everyone!" thread was started in the Lounge forum. It did not take long until one non-LGBTQ member reported the thread, and David Hammontree (revhtree), the site owner, promptly removed the thread.

It remains abundantly clear David Hammontree takes exception to any LGBTQ discussion on his forum, a gross misrepresentation of what he has stated in the past and what the site's rules claim. A "Happy Pride" thread is no more sexual in nature than a "Happy Father's Day" thread.

Please continue to spread the word about this issue! Achieving broad awareness outside of R2R is essential!
