Not a time to rejoice just because the government is bringing laws for a 4 day work week. Let's keep in mind that the work week in India is 48 hours and that means companies will make you work for 12 hours daily for 4 days. No need to mention that Indian companies and MNCs will make you stretch beyond that too. They will also ask you to login on your 3 days off. 

The best and only thing we can do to stop this is to demand from the government, the implementation of a 40 hour work week. Followed by strict monitoring and anonymous complaint portals for employees to complain against companies that violate our laws. 

No one and Nothing is above the Law.
