Having written to Cllr Margot McArthur, and received no reply or acknowledgment, I have written to Cllr Robert Mayall on Sevenoaks DC. 

I received this, albeit neutral response, but at least I think the request we have put in is at least 'in the system'.

Thank you for your email. I am aware from the Chiddingstone Parish Council and other sources that there is concern about speeding traffic at Bough Beech. The issue is very much on the agenda and is on the HIP (Highway Improvement Plan) for your area. At the minute they are concentrating on traffic calming issues at Chiddingstone Causeway and Camp Hill. It is something which will hopefully get sorted soon but these things take time to implement.
