Hi folks 

Thought I would update everyone on the current situation around the car parking charges. At the start of June if you all remember I had a meeting with the chief Executive of Lancaster City Council (LCC)plus leader of the Council and Gina Dowding Green Party  who collectively promised to supply me with the data for the footfall in LCC car parks this would be sent to me in Jul.
I emailed the CE start of last week 12 Jul and have yet to receive a reply.  Once again the council have ignored  my request. This issue will not go away silently for them if that’s what they think. Many of you commented asking me to stand up and try to be elected I have done this.  I have put my name forward to be a councillor in the Harbour ward. If this is the only way I can ensure mine and your voices will be heard by LCC on this and other issues that affect our lives within Morecambe and Lancaster please  vote for me On Thur 21 Jul. If LCC had spent our budget better and not blaming government for all the problems  they would not be in the predicament they are I now fleecing the motorist, business owners and tourist to fill holes in the budget.
