You will see in the local papers that Gina Dowding is trying to defend the increase in parking charges. Some of what she says is correct but if you look on LCC web site you will see that the charges are not standardised across all car parks. also Ringo charges an admin fee when you pay. 
why no 2hr parking charge. This is about the Greens reducing vehicle usage and the council needing to raise more funds even though they have raised council tax. Don’t be fooled by what she says.Also Stagecoach are reducing a number of bus services so people will need to use the car more
