I reached out to the Board of Aldermen on March 28th and also followed up on April 5th, but have not received any reply yet. In my initial reach out, I shared the petition and all of the support it received. 

I think it would really help move this cause forward if everyone could send emails to the board members to show that this issue really means a lot. Please keep all emails respectful and feel free to use the template below as a start.

I am writing to express my concern about the rising parking fees at Wrightsville Beach, which unfairly target residents like myself.

The recent increase makes enjoying the beach a financial burden. This, coupled with existing taxes, creates a barrier for residents who simply want to access public spaces.

The current resident permit system excludes renters and Wilmington residents, making it difficult to visit the beach we call home.

This would allow residents to enjoy the beach and support local businesses without an excessive financial burden.
