Join our candidate forum on April 27 (Thurs) at 7pm via https://tinyurl.com/GHC-Forum. Remember to vote in the primary election on June 27th. We will ask each of the candidates whether they support the Safer Consumption Act without adding 6 Safety Guardrails:

1. Open many supervised injection sites (SISs) or none at all
2. Keep injection sites 1000 feet from schools and playgrounds
3. Allocate more funding to arrest drug dealers and end open-air drug scenes
4. Establish a Community Advisory Board to formalize community engagement
5. Collect data to hold SIS’s providers accountable for referring users to treatment
6. Prioritize Treatment. Add treatment programs to NYC’s 36 Assembly Districts that are treatment deserts
