This is NOT what Public Housing is all about...

Planning Minister Sonya Kilkenny has refused to respond to an official request, officially minuted in the Victorian Parliament, to visit Port Melbourne locals & future "tower tenants" about Barak Beacon.
BUT....
She was more than happy to meet with local MP Nina Taylor just around the corner at the South Melbourne Market on the weekend to talk about livability & thriving surburbs Sonya & Nina talk "Livability & Thriving Suburbs"
It's really upsetting when the people who live in an impacted suburb don't have a genuine, considered say anymore. What's more upsetting is when the decision makers then use social media to imply they are interested and they care when their behaviour suggests otherwise.
This is not just happening in Port Melbourne. It's happening across the State. Everyone will know someone who is impacted at some stage & Sonya is the decision maker for them all.
Sonya needs the full story to make decisions that genuinely honour the welfare of Victorian communities.
Send Sonya an email & respectfully tell her how you feel: sonya.kilkenny@parliament.vic.gov.au
