Thank you to everyone for your continued support!  I wanted to provide a quick update for everyone.  Our team met on Wednesday of this week.  On Thursday, we sent personalized letters, copies of the petition and also the 515 signatures at that time to:

• Secretary of the NCDOT Joey Hopkins
• Pender County Commissioner Brad George 
• Congressman Carson Smith
• Senator Brent Jackson

We'll post an update of the responses we receive.

We are still collecting additional signatures at this time.  Please share with friends, family, and neighbors.  We also decided to reach out to local businesses.  We posted the petition, along with a barcode for people to easily access via their phone at Hilltop Grocery and Eastern Outfitters.
