Upgrade the Cleveland CBD and Car Parking

The issue

For Redland City Council to consider a strategy in consultation with Cleveland businesses to upgrade the Cleveland CBD in an effort to make it more affordable for businesses beyond the Cleveland CBD incentives package. Furthermore to consider an upgrade to car parks in the Cleveland CBD and look at ways to improve car parking at Stocklands Shopping Centre, as well as parking on Bloomfield St, Middle Street, Wynyard Street, Queen Street, Waters St, and Doig Street, Cleveland. Consider an upgrade to the Council parking behind the Redland City Council building and also incorporating public use of the land of the former Chefs Inc. Cleveland facility which could benefit locals and businesses. That this petition also believes that Council should also incorporate a means to resolve the lack of consultation process in regards to high realty prices in the CBD on a local level.
