Find your voice along with me!

We have begun the effort to meet with members of Congress, people who represent you.  Our list is long. We'll be speaking to Republicans, Democrats and Independents. In a conversation this morning with staff for a House member from Connecticut, they were impressed by the petition and the number of signers.  Then they said "What will make a difference in convincing our member to support the bill is if those petition signers take 3 minutes to send our member a note saying they signed the petition and that they seek the member's support of H.J. Res. 76."

Please, please, please, find your voice! Take just a few moments to send an email to your elected official to express your support and to seek theirs. You can use our ARCGIS Interactive Petition Mapper tool to find your member and locate their webpage to contact them.

We can do this, but you need to be active in the process.  We are getting House members' attention through our visits with them. Now, they want to hear directly from you.
