We are still waiting for an update from Redbridge Council, 2 weeks after supposedly launching a legal investigation. We urge petition signees to email the licensing authority for an update so they are aware this will not be swept under the rug again. The owners of Catwalk Pets continue to hold a breeding license until December 2022 and are permitted to sell animals.
Please also continue to leave Google Reviews of your experiences. Catwalk Pets currently rate 3.7/5 stars there.
Feel free to use the following letter/email templates to Redbridge Council & if you are local, Wes Streeting MP.

"Dear Redbridge Council,
Please could you share the outcome of the investigation into Catwalk Pets & Rescue of Barkingside and answer the following questions;
- Have all previous complaints against Catwalk Pets been logged?
- Will the outcomes of the current and any previous investigations be shared, if so, when?
- Will the number of breeding dogs a license holder is permitted to keep be published on your Animal Activity Register? (FOI request)
- Will the owner of Catwalk Pets breeding license be reviewed as it is currently held until Dec 2022?
- Will you be holding a council meeting regarding Catwalk Pets and if so, the time and location be published?
Yours faithfully,

"Dear Wes Streeting,
I am a resident of Redbridge, postcode <X> and am concerned about a local pet shop, Catwalk Pets & Rescue, whom have been selling sick animals including ex-breeding dogs from their premises. An online petition has reached over 7,500 signatures after the national press covered the story of a sick Shih-Tzu sold by Catwalk Pets.
This has been going on for many years despite numerous complaints to Redbridge Council whom have continued to license the shop and owners for a breeding license at another address.
Please can you ensure that this is investigated fully and appropriate action is taken? Animal cruelty or exploitation is not acceptable, nor is bending the law to do so (Lucy's Law), and a legitimate animal rescue centre would not also be breeding dogs for profit.
Thank you
Yours Sincerely,
