STOP THE DEVELOPMENT UPDATE
 
Well over 100 objections to the proposed development have been submitted to the Council’s Planning Department. Despite that, it is by no means certain that the proposal will go to the Committee for consideration. A decision on whether to do that is within the gift of the Chair of the Committee.

The destruction to our environment and the character of our road mean that we have to oppose this application with all the means at our disposal. City Plumbing Ltd apparently told one of your local Councillors that they would meet with us but this hasn’t happened!

 There are various ways that we can oppose the development.  We believe that there are restricted covenants which prevent trees from being cut down but, to stop this from happening, we may need to take legal action. This is likely to be costly, so please make a donation via our
