For most Red Hot Chili Peppers fans, hearing the songs left over from I’m With You, collectively known as I’m Beside You, was a blessing. Any new RHCP material is exciting for most fans but this collection seems to be something special. Many of the songs on the album are regarded as some of the best that Josh has produced with the band. I know first-hand how excited fans are about the idea of hearing I’m Beside You songs live. When Rock Werchter live streamed the Red Hot Chili Peppers set in 2016 and the band teased Your Eyes Girl it was a magical moment. The fan community went wild with excitement about hearing even a small portion of the song live. Since then, the community has campaigned to hear these songs live. Fans have been posting pictures of themselves along with their favorite songs from the album to the Facebook page I’m Beside You Live (https://www.facebook.com/imbesideyoulive/ They have also been participating in this poll for which song they would most like to hear live (http://www.strawpoll.me/12180679 and they have been signing and sharing this petition. So we ask the Red Hot Chili Peppers, please play songs from I’m Beside You live. You’d be making lots of fans’ dreams come true.
