I started this petition on September 12th, just two days after I lost my sweet boy Rex on September 10th. He was my emotional support animal, my comfort, my family.
We are now at 232 signatures, with our next milestone at 500. Every single signature means another person believes emotional support animals deserve to be recognized and protected federally — not overlooked.
Too many people are left without protections when their mental health companions are at risk. Rex helped me through so much, and I’m doing this so no one else has to fight that battle alone.
