We Call on the 119th United States Congress (2025-2027) to Federally Recognize & Protect Emotional Support Animals*
My name is Judy Traenkner from Cheyenne, Wyoming. My son Rex was my Emotional Support Animal and my world. ESAs save lives every day, but the law doesn't see it that way.
Right now, ESA owners face:
- No federal housing protection
- No consistent public access rights
- No recognition for the life-saving support ESAs provide
*We ask the 119th Congress, currently in session, to:*
1. Federally recognize ESAs as more than just pets
2. Protect ESA owners from housing discrimination
3. Create clear, fair national standards for ESA documentation
