I want to thank every single one of you who has signed and shared this petition to recognize and protect emotional support animals federally.
I started this after my family lost Rex on September 10th. Rex wasn't just a dog — he was my son Wyatt's emotional support animal. He was unfairly euthanized, and as a family we had no federal protection to stop it. One day he was here helping my son, the next he was gone.
Wyatt lost his support. We lost family. And I learned that ESA's like Rex have almost no federal protection.
That's why I'm fighting for this. No other family should have to go through what we did because their ESA isn't federally recognized and protected.
We have 179 signatures now. Our next milestone is 200. Can you help us get there?
