📢 BREAKING UPDATE: The UK Ministry of Defence has officially replied to my petition calling for a more diverse nuclear deterrent and the reintroduction of Cold War-era alert systems.

🔹 They confirmed the UK remains solely reliant on Trident submarine-based missiles.
🔹 The MOD stated this decision is based on the 2013 Trident Alternatives Review, which concluded no other system is as “capable, resilient, or cost-effective.”
🔹 Despite my concerns, they are not currently planning to diversify beyond Trident.

⚠️ This proves exactly why we must keep pushing. In an era of rising threats, cyber vulnerabilities, and outdated civil defenses, relying on one nuclear system is a national risk.
