Greetings friends who envision a natural rebuild for Los Angeles!

Thank you for your support of our petition! It is spreading and our movement is growing! It is very exciting to realize we are being heard and together we can make a difference for the future of Los Angeles, California and other states!

I wanted to share some fun updates and also ask you to please share our petition so we can really show the city and county how many of us are united in this vision!

1) Fun updates - We're getting some great media coverage which will help our cause! Here is an article that came out last week and LA times are working on a piece that will be out soon.

If you have friends in media, share our petition and this story and feel free to have them reach out to me so I can answer questions and connect them to natural building experts that they can interview.

2) We are almost done with a video reel that tells our story and vision quickly. We want to make it go viral so more folks sign the petition and learn about natural building methods!

I will be sharing it on my ig @marysia_miernowska today or tomorrow. Please share, repost, and reach out to me with any collaboration ideas!

If you have a large social media following or know someone who does and supports our cause, ask them to share it and ask for signatures!

Encourage folks to sign our petition even if they don't live in LA or California. Their voice still adds support and visibility!

3) A more personal update: My family and I were able to return home after evacuating earlier this week. Before heading home, we went up to our friend's house Betty Seaman - she is a natural builder who teaches and advocates with decades of experience. This is a photo of the hand build home she made for just a couple thousand dollars! It was so empowering and educational to visit with her and to see how anyone can learn to build their own home, make it beautiful and affordable.

We also tested the fire resistance of her cob structures by standing with a high powered blow torch and blowing the flame against the wall for minutes on end. It was amazing to see how fire resistant these materials are! You can see the video on my instagram @marysia_miernowska

4) Folks are working on a database with resources, classes, lists of builders, etc. I will share that as soon as it is ready.

5) If you'd like a decision maker to be added and contacted regarding our petition (someone from the city, county or state) please send me their name and I'll add them!

Feel free to reach out to me and lets continue to work together to make our city sustainable, healthy, safe and beautiful for generations to come.

Many blessings your way!
