A Major Step Forward for Koonung — Both Parties Commit to the STEAM Centre! 💙💛

Our community has been heard. And this is worth celebrating!

Following the Liberal Party’s commitment, the Labor Party has now also committed to funding Stage 2 of Koonung’s master plan — the proposed STEAM Centre.

This is a significant step forward for our children, our school and the wider Whitehorse community.

Why this matters.
The proposed three-storey STEAM Centre will provide modern, purpose-built facilities for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, supporting our children to develop the skills and creativity they need for the future.

But Koonung’s master plan extends beyond Stage 2. We want to see continued investment in the remaining stages, including the future vision for a shared-use multi-court stadium, so our school facilities can grow alongside our community.
