Thank you thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Your support means so much to us! Your kind words fuel our spirits and pick us up when it all seems like too much to handle! We are approaching a big civic hurdle and we need your help. On Monday, March 14th at 3:00 we have a public hearing in room 330 at St. Paul City Hall in front of the St. Paul Board of Zoning Appeals for our parking variance. We had to ask for a parking variance because we do not have a dedicated parking lot and aren’t able to provide extra parking. We had to write a pretty extensive narrative for the board to review. We have attached a link to this update so you can see a little of what goes into requesting such a variance. What's at stake? If we don't get our parking variance, we can't operate our theater! That's right. We need you to show up at this public hearing and let the Board of Zoning Appeals know that you support the North Garden Theater... that you support the arts in St. Paul... and that even though we aren't able to provide our own parking lot, that you agree that a NEW entertainment venue on West 7th in St. Paul will benefit the neighborhood and the Twin Cities performing arts community! We’re meeting our supporters between 2:30 and 2:45 on the third floor of the St. Paul City Hall building located at 15 W Kellogg Blvd, St Paul, MN 55102. We want a little bit of time to make sure we are properly organized. We’ll have stickers or some sort of identifying badge for you to wear. Otherwise, wear a blue shirt! The hearing starts at 3pm. We hope that we can give everyone who shows up a chance to say a few words of support in front of the Board. There is the possibility that we will could face opposition. Which is why we need as many of you as possible to show up and lend your voice to our cause. Thank you in advance!
