Just a quick update from your friendly neighborhood track-and-field advocate!

We’re now well over 1,600 signatures strong and still picking up steam like a relay team in the final stretch. Our call to reopen the public tracks and fields in Tallahassee and across Florida is being heard—loud and clear.

The good news? This movement is doing what movements do best: moving! Thanks to the support of everyday champions (that’s you!) and even six Olympic-level athletes who’ve thrown their weight behind our cause, we’re starting to see heads turn and eyebrows raise in all the right places.

But here's the kicker: Florida law is actually on our side. 🏛️
Yes sir, statutes like 1013.10 and other public access laws make it clear—these facilities were built for all of us, not locked away like grandma’s fine china. We’re not just asking for a favor; we’re reminding folks what the law and the taxpayers already intended: open, safe access to the places that keep us active, connected, and well.
