Florida statute 1013.101 attempts to improve all communities' overall health. This statute states “that public schools are equipped with taxpayer-funded indoor and outdoor recreation facilities that offer easily accessible opportunities for physical activity for residents of the community.” The state recognizes that one way to combat physical and mental health crisis is to make exercise more accessible. The statute is even noted as exempt under the Security Enhancement Acts.
