Join Us For a Hike on Saturday
Join us Saturday Dec 7 at 10:00 AM for a hike in Umstead State Park along the border with the proposed quarry.  Details and directions are here on meetup.com.  We'll stay on park property, but walk (off trail) along the border of the park.  If you haven't yet seen this area close up, it's a great opportunity to see what's happening and understand the impacts to the park if the quarry ever comes to pass.

Umstead State Park from the proposed RDU Quarry project on the park border. All proceeds will go into legal proceedings as well as education on the importance of protecting the forested lands near Umstead State Park.
