When I started this petition based on what was on the news, other initiatives for the same goal, I had no idea where this would go. And it went beyond what I would have hoped for.... Having the support from other institutions and dj’s shows what kind of family we are and how we can count on each other, something that shouldn’t be underestimated and something we should be proud of….

Since we reached 10.000 signatures, I believe it is clear how many people are supporting the scene and this should help Kompass Klub in any further discussion they have with the city of Ghent.

At the moment there is no news and as we say “no news is good news” there is no need anymore to keep the petition open.

I’m really happy about what came out of it and I really believe this is a powerful way to support any cause. Should there at any point be any other club or festival I like in Belgium (Fuse, Café d’anvers, Ampere, Extrema, Cirque magique and so on …) be in danger, without any doubt I would do this again.
