Remove Uniforms for Rapides Parish Public Schools

I am a student currently attending Caroline Dormon. The school year is about to come to a close as I'm writing this, so I (and many, many others) would appreciate if the following problem would be fixed for the next school year. For a long time, I and many of my fellow students have wanted to remove the chains of limitations when it comes to what we wear. Though I do get the concerns for a few, it's most outrageous.
In public schools located in Rapides Parish, we are forced to wear uniforms, which can limit how we express ourselves. And especially the ridiculousness of it; having to tuck our shirts in and having to pay for the opportunity to wear jeans (especially since its only once a week) is absolutely absurd. I think that we should be able to wear t-shirts and leave them untucked. We should be able to wear jeans every day without having to pay. Heck, even wear jean shorts. And even dyed hair.
Even with all those, I still understand concerns for erotic clothing. Schools should be allowed to limit the length or the amount of nudity on clothes, or what's already being done to uniforms as it is. It's about time to give us more freedom for dressing in school.
