This is a condition I have. It affects my neck and vocal cords. Most Drs will never come across it so it's very hard to get diagnosed (took me 10 years) after I asked for brain surgery. I now get botox injections in my neck every 3 months, they want to inject my vocal cords but I'm too scared for that right now.
Mine is genetic but it can also be caused by head injuries or medication.
