So far, 23.1% of people who’ve viewed this petition have signed — compared to the national average of 4%. That says it all. This issue matters deeply to many of us.

Our next goal: 5,000 signatures and 30 stories. Once we reach that, I’ll start an official e-petition on the Australian Parliament website (which needs at least 50 signatures in four weeks), which I'll provide a link to. I’ll send both petitions and your stories to key decision makers - MPs, Centrelink, Services Australia, and the Prime Minister.
