Less pollution stops altered DNA

As you can see here, the national institutes of health recognises that reducing the amount of pollution in our atmosphere can help to prevent further mutations from happening in our genes. The mututed De Novo Gene is what contributes to severe learning difficulties and disabilities in autism. Without those genes being impacted by pollution, we would drastically reduce the amount of babies being born with these issues. The mutated De Novo gene is also responsible for causing cancer, so a reduction in pollution would also help to prevent many cases of cancer globally.
