Dear Supporter of Racial Truth and Reconciliation on MV:

We have not yet had a formal meeting with the folks from the Chilmark Town Action Committee, however, that is not slowing us down. 

Our first Community Conversation about race is on Wednesday, October 6th at 8pm, hosted by Kyle Williams and his team from A Long Talk. The conversations are open to everyone who wants to do something to end racism.  At least one member of the Chilmark Town Action Committee is participating in the October Community Conversation.

Once you are on A Long Talk website, go to: Upcoming Events for the MV Community. Register by clicking the registration buttons for upcoming Community Conversations in October, November and December.  Choose the dates that work for you. 

There is mandatory pre-work to joining the conversation, so make sure you register and do the work before the sessions begins.  The first session is on Wednesday, October 6th at 8pm.  

Our vision is an anti-racist at every dinner table on the island. Share the Community Conversation link with friends, family and community members, and please continue to share the petition as well. We have almost reached 500 signatures!
