This photo of the great  jockey Perry Wayne Ouzts says it all. He is calm, steady, easygoing and determined. A horse whisperer and ultimate jockey. Plus, Perry is a gentleman in every way.

This petition to support Perry's nomination and induction into the Racing Hall of Fame (HOF) is entitled 48,000. This is because Perry has ridden 48,000 mounts in his 42 years of racing. And to quote track journalist  John Englehardt, " what have you done 48,000 times other than blink or smile".  In addition, Perry has over 6600 wins, the 11th most winning jockey.

These are impessive credentials for any sport and even more for thoroughbred racing. Perry Ouzts has truly earned his place to be immortalized in horseracing history.
