Tonight, I want to give a plug for another petition going that aligns with this petition really well. It is located on the Queensland Government e-petition site, and is well worth our support. In terms of moving forward with this petition, I intend to post a link to a survey shortly - completely anonymous of course, to collect data on your experience with Queensland Police complaints and the Crime and Corruption Commission. While one person (out of almost 50,000) has tried to say this proposed survey is 'biased', this is NOT the case as the focus on this research is to uncover patterns of behaviour by the Queensland Police Service. Something that has not been really investigated at all! My background in Social Science research will ensure this survey is valid. This will also give you folks a voice in a safe way.
