IT IS CLEAR WE HAVE ACTUALLY GONE BACKWARDS IN TERMS OF POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY

Folks - as the attached article (acknowledged as being 3 years old now) demonstrates, accountability has taken a back seat in Queensland.

We are nearing our overall goal now, with 5,956 additional signatures to reach our goal.

What is clear from the attached article is that accountability has been generally eroded for some time now. If you consider the role of the Crime and Corruption Commission, being handed a general crime fighting role and powers rather than being focused on it's anti corruption function, you have a focus away from actual corruption issues.

I know I've been asking a lot, I know I keep posting updates calling on you supporters to try for more signatures, but we need them, and we are so close.
